Fly Shadez (born 9th May, Nyassoso, Cameroon) is a multi-talented rapper, singer, and songwriter known for seamlessly blending Afrobeats, R&B, rap, and hip-hop influences into a unique, genre defying sound. With roots in Cameroon, Fly Shadez’s music carries the rhythms of his African heritage while incorporating the vibrant energy of global music.

BIOGRAPHY

Fly Shadez moved from Cameroon to Belgium in 2010 to reunite with his family. It was here that his passion for music began to flourish, and he started writing his own material in 2012. Inspired by a diverse mix of musical influences, including American hip hop/pop, Nigerian Afrobeats, and Cameroonian makossa, Fly Shadez’s early sound was a reflection of his eclectic upbringing. His debut tracks such as Last Night in Kumba, I Got This, Far Away, and One Night, along with the release of the SET BACKS EP in 2016, marked the beginning of a promising career.

In addition to his musical talent, Fly Shadez is also a visionary entrepreneur. In 2016, he founded Dream Case Empire, a record label that would go on to make waves in the music industry. With its iconic tag, “DC Niguh,” the label became a recognizable force in the underground music scene, offering a platform to talented artists like Jeff97, Melvin Peter, Freddie King, Duggy D, Oforios, Yury, and Fly Shadez himself. Fly Shadez’s aim was to create the type of creative space that he himself had always sought but never found in his early years in the industry.

In 2019, Fly Shadez moved to Manchester, UK, He released the highly anticipated UNIVERSE Mixtape, tracks like Hunned (featuring Prince K. Appiah), Intro, and Shots, further solidifying his position in the international music scene. His music was amplified with relatable themes, captivating lyrics with his genre-blending style.

2022 marked a pivotal year in Fly Shadez’s career, as Dream Case Empire merged with Big5 Entertainment, leading to a series of new releases that showcased his artistic evolution.
